Star Citizen Community Poll: Pre AC/DFM
Purpose: In order to give some shape to certain demographics within the Star Citizen player community, I have devised the following series of questions. The intent is to gather information to see certain properties about the player community that may not be directly apparent upon casual interaction.
Distribution: This poll should be distributed far and wide and not limited to a single particular pocket or sub-community of the global and overall Star Citizen community. Please share this with your friends from Star Citizen and within your organization and any other Star Citizen community that you may be a part of. The more players that submit data for this poll, the more accurate the data will be.
Scope: This poll focuses on Pre AC/DFM demographics. Future polls will be released that focus on post AC/DFM demographics with further polls that focus on other milestones of the Star Citizen roadmap. The ultimate goal is to provide a historical record of the demographics of the community. Future polls will cater to the particular milestone that they are based off of and may not have the same questions that this poll does.
Security: None of the responses are logged with an IP address or any way to identify who you are. So unless you enter your social security number or some other form of personally identifiable information in one of the free-text responses, you have nothing to worry about.
Data Validation: Obviously incorrect, malicious or purposefully exaggerated entries will be deleted at the webmaster’s discretion without notice and will not be included in the final results.
Schedule: This poll will run until the Arena Commander release on May 29th. Results will be provided a short while after the poll is closed. The raw entry data will also be provided. Entries submitted after the release of the Arena Commander module will be deleted.

Hard to give an accurate answer on when I’ll build a new PC. I plan to build it for release, but we don’t know when that will be or when we’ll have the required specs for the actual game.
This poll has more of an “as of right now” standpoint. So approximations are definitely expected.
I’ll run more polls like this in the future when we have a clearer date of release.
I am build-ING a new computer, will probably take 3 months. Have a Hornet F7C-M and an F7A upgrade i have been assured I can apply to that. Intend to play mainly in trade economy and fly escort/hire as crew to make money to upgrade ships. Would like to be able to own/control a node, specifically a bar/club. Interested in the “networking” of successful trade/economy. Interested in orgs that have open to no structure that allow commercial/etc. networking.
That’s an interesting concept you have with the player organization… Kind of like a business networking association. I’m sure there will be a few like that.
I am amending some of my answers since it thinks that my actual answers are exaggerated. My actual amount spent was just over 20 grand. I have 43 star ships right now. I do own the F7A variant in the form of the F7A skin upgrade package of which I own 7 of them. So yes I do actually have every ship on your list. The rest of my answers are correct.
