Star Citizen Arena Commander Delayed

In an official post on the RSI website today, CIG CEO, Chris Roberts, announced that the Star Citizen Arena Commander has been delayed.

The highly anticipated module, which was tentatively scheduled to release tomorrow, May 29th, 2014, was to give players their first official opportunity to fly ships around in space and shoot at both ships controlled by the computer and player combatants.

He cites two bugs that were given the status of “blockers”, which prevent the module from being released at all.  He describes “blockers” as any bug that prevent the game from being playable.

He also provides a list of current bugs that the development teams are aware of and working on.

Sadly, he does not provide an estimate as to when they will be complete.  At this point, it is anyone’s guess.

The good news is that the community now has more time to submit their responses to the Pre-AC/DFM census poll that we are running.
